A riveting snapshot of ‘The Life’ – a subculture of trafficking, promising fun and easy money through sex work. Dominique Izabella Little plays the chaotic lives of four electric women, who hold the stage with gravitas, humour and heartache, in this bold new one-woman show. An outstanding performance that contextualises the lives of women caught up in the global multi-billion-dollar sex trafficking market.

Chasing highs born from the darkest lows, amidst a disturbing reality of villains and exploitation we meet…

Mama: a French Madame with her Masters in the business of seduction;
King: Californian Queen of Recruitment;
Blue: Renegade Appalachian hustler, bougie clients and crack cocaine;
Miss International: Pimped into porn, jail-time done and time to shine!

Mid-pandemic Dominique moved to Hollywood. Her daily commute beside the much-ignored heartbeat of Los Angeles has given life to characters graceful, provoking, shocking and profound. Childhood dreams morph into the brash thrill of life on the streets in LA. Painting far-removed experiences as only one circumstance away.

Sold By Mama is a must see for anybody taken by the human experience, the breaking of stereotypes and the rawness of truth. An enthralling non-linear exploration of the complexity of pimpism, survival, abuse, addiction, mental illness, trauma, love and motherhood.

Latecomers may not be admitted. Please arrive in good time for the start time of 7:45pm.
Under 18s are not permitted into the theatre for this performance.
No re-admittance once the performance has commenced. Refunds and exchanges are not available.
