"Lad, are you sure this isn't kidnapping?"

Tristan’s got another deadline. Craig’s got another hangover. The meter needs topping up. (Again.)

In the cold of January, the same old arguments are getting more stale than the out of date biscuits on the living room table. Their small, once loved, council flat has become nothing more than a roof and four walls. Tristan still thinks his writing could be his ticket to the big city whilst Craig believes his ‘genius’ scheming will make him a millionaire.

If you’re too afraid to make a decision,  sometimes the universe has to make one for you.

When murky family politics unexpectedly brings a baby to their door, the bounds of their friendship are pushed to the limit. In the purgatory of adulthood, can they escape the cycle of this underfunded end of the line town or is the familiarity of home too hard to let go off?

A Fly On The Wall Productions presents the UK premiere of Concrete, Ché Tligui’s debut play.  The piece has been workshopped and developed through a series of R&D workshops, scratch nights and a 3 night run at The Old Red Lion Theatre. Concrete is a modern day take on the one room Ibsen play told from the working class perspective with a healthy sprinkling of Northern charm, wit and the occasional f*** off.
