EMBRACE
22nd - 24th January
7PM

EMBRACE is a bold, new, time-jumping, genre-merging queer play that asks, what are we looking for, and what will we do to find it?

Five gay strangers. One Orgy and a night that changes everything.

They arrive carrying secrets, longing, and unfinished business but will tonight be the answers to all there worries?
Each carries a private story: a couple straining to salvage their love by opening it, a closeted lad still hiding from his family, another taking the leap into sex again after a night that changed everything and the older host whose motives are difficult to understand. Their stories unravel with humour, tenderness, and unease, as intimacy is revealed to be less about bodies than about longing.
Embrace is a meditation on queer survival: on how joy and shame entwine, how desire is haunted by grief, and how the longing for chosen family never fades. It asks: How do queer people carry and transform shame? How does queerness reshape our understanding of intimacy? How do we grieve what was lost and embrace what remains?
