‘I learned that I like just a splash of milk – and even then, you have to be careful it isn’t off.’
After a ‘not-so great couple of years’, Sunny is back at home in their childhood bedroom. Will their quest to find love be fruitful, or end in disaster like so many times before?
A Splash of Milk exposes the harsh realities of being a person of colour within the already marginalised queer community and the racism that lies within. A queer (almost) love story, with just a sprinkle of… racism, sass and humour, A Splash of Milk explores what it means to be part of the global majority as well as being queer, and how this can affect your relationship with the queer community itself.
A Splash of Milk comes to the Hope after successful Camden Fringe performances at the Hen & Chickens Theatre earlier this year.
