The Hope Theatre is situated inside the Hope & Anchor pub on the corner of Upper Street and Islington Park Street – 207 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 1RL.

Upon arrival at the pub, please visit the Box Office at the base of the stairs check in and pick up your ticket token. The Box Office opens no more than 45 minutes before the start of each performance.

Transport: The nearest station is Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line, Overground and First Capital Connect) and Angel (Northern Line). The area is well served by buses and the routes 4, 19, 30 and 43 all run past the venue. The nearest bus stop is Islington Town Hall.

Parking: There is metered on-street parking on nearby Compton Terrace and Canonbury Lane. The theatre is outside of the Congestion Charge Zone.

Access: We regret that there is no wheelchair access at our Grade II listed venue due to renovation restrictions. For further information on access please contact us at info@thehopetheatre.com.

FOOD & DRINK: You’re very welcome to purchase beverages from the pub bar and take these up into the studio with you. Any drinks purchased outside the venue are prohibited. Due to allergen concerns, we politely ask our audiences not to eat food or snacks in the studio. Meals can be ordered from the bar, but your order must be placed at least 75 minutes before the performance start time.
