Main Show Programme
Our Main Show programme is for full-scale productions which have 3 or 4 week runs starting at 7 or 7.30pm. We welcome proposals for all kinds of theatre, but are particularly interested in stories which are bold, surprising, and have something to say about the world we are living in now. Currently we are programming for January 2022 onwards.
Send your submission email to email@example.com. Within three weeks we’ll read your proposal and be in touch to let you know if we think it’s a good fit for the Hope.
Late Show Programme
The action at the Hope continues well into the evening with our Late Show programme.
Late Show slots are perfect for new ideas and small-scale productions. They range from 1-night to 3-week runs, starting at 8.30 or 9pm. These slots are a great opportunity for companies to try new work out in front of an audience, and for innovative shows and performers to make their mark.
Send your submission email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Within three weeks we’ll read your proposal and be in touch to let you know if we think it’s a good fit for the Hope.
Seeing Your Work
If you wish to invite us to see your work so it can be considered for our programme, please email email@example.com with details of the event and, where possible, a copy of the script and any supporting information.
We are also interested in hearing from companies who would like to use the space for rehearsed readings. Please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred dates and any further information. Please bear in mind that evenings are not often available as there are usually performances happening in the space.
If you wish to book the basement for a live music gig please note that this space is not managed by the Hope Theatre. Please instead direct your email to book@email@example.com.
The performance space seats 50 and is very flexible, allowing for a variety of different seating configurations. We enjoy work that uses the room in inventive ways and celebrates the space to its best advantage. The space measures 7 x 5.5 metres and the height to rig is 3.5 metres.
You can download the theatre’s technical specification and rig plan below. For any questions please contact Gianluca Zona, Technical Manager, by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
