A grave is being dug, deeper and deeper, and something must lie within it…
Beyond the balmy streets of Willow Way, a gravedigger digs a ditch. They work in peace all alone. But a newcomer to the yard disturbs this purposeful digging. After striking up a deal, the newcomer agrees to stay in the yard and finish the work. The gravedigger slips out to run some errands and the newcomer attempts to get their hands dirty – but the graveyard pulls in strange lost souls that torment the newcomer’s mind.
As the night goes on, the ditch will deepen – swelling, desperate and hungry. A grave is being dug, deeper and deeper, and something must lie within it.
GRAVE by Will Osbon is an absurdist tragicomedy performed in one act. Through two performers you will meet the likes of a drunkard, a lawyer, a beekeeper, a gravedigger and a parent. These characters will cause havoc and then be on their way – but why are they doing this? Existential and ridiculous, GRAVE is a show with multiple endings – but which will you see? There’s only one way to find out. Your grave awaits.
