VIRGIN-ia is a one-woman play about a sexually motivated virgin. Haunted by the name she thinks her evangelical parents gave her as a curse. Virginia takes us on the journey of her 30th birthday and her determination to lose her V-card despite her fears from her Christian upbringing. Along the way, we meet her mother, soon-to-be sister-in-law, best friend, and the suspected love of her life, Jacob. Written and performed by recent MFA Acting graduate Chelsea Paige Butler.
Indigo Arts Collective is celebrating International Women’s Day with a festival of original new work written and performed by women from across the country and around the globe.
